Vishal Mishra Buys Four Mumbai Apartments in Rs 22.25 Crore Property Deal

Bollywood singer and music composer Vishal Mishra has made a significant real estate investment in Mumbai, purchasing four residential apartments in Andheri West for a combined Rs 22.25 crore. The properties are located in Oberoi Sky Heights Co-operative Housing Society, within the Lokhandwala Complex area of Oshiwara.

The acquisition brings together homes with a total built-up area of 4,058.21 square feet and a combined super built-up area of 5,071 square feet. According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the transactions were registered on October 26, 2026. The apartments are spread across two floors of the residential building, with the purchase also including three stilt parking spaces.

What the four-apartment deal includes

The largest component of Mishra’s purchase is a duplex created by combining two apartments across two floors. The unit was acquired for approximately Rs 9.30 crore and measures 1,640.63 square feet in built-up area, or 2,050 square feet on a super built-up basis.

The remaining three apartments were purchased separately. One, measuring 880.27 square feet in built-up area and 1,100 square feet in super built-up area, cost about Rs 4.27 crore. Another apartment, with a built-up area of 971 square feet, was acquired for approximately Rs 4.02 crore.

The fourth home measures 760.25 square feet in built-up area and 950 square feet in super built-up area. Its reported purchase price was around Rs 4.67 crore. Together, the four transactions total Rs 22.25 crore. The documents also record stamp duty of approximately Rs 1.33 crore.

Why Andheri West remains a sought-after address

Andheri West is among Mumbai’s established residential and entertainment districts, making it a familiar choice for people working in the film and music industries. Lokhandwala, in particular, offers access to studios, production offices, restaurants, shopping areas and major roads connecting residents with other parts of the city.

The neighbourhood’s appeal is not limited to its proximity to Bollywood workplaces. It is also served by public transport and sits within reach of business districts and the western suburbs’ commercial hubs. For buyers seeking a home, a long-term investment or additional space for family and work, these practical advantages can help sustain demand in the area.

Mishra’s purchase stands out for its scale and structure. Rather than acquiring a single large residence, he has bought four apartments, including a duplex formed from two units. Such a configuration can offer flexibility: the homes may be used together, kept as separate residences or adapted to different personal and professional needs. The registration documents confirm the transaction details, though they do not specify how the singer plans to use each apartment.

A notable property move alongside a busy music career

Mishra has built a prominent profile as both a performer and a composer, contributing to Hindi film music and other projects. His work has helped establish him as one of the recognisable contemporary voices in Bollywood, while his songwriting and composition credits have broadened his presence behind the microphone as well.

For artists with demanding schedules, a Mumbai home can be more than a place to live. The city remains a central base for film production, recording, rehearsals and industry meetings. A multi-apartment purchase in a well-connected neighbourhood may therefore reflect both personal preferences and the practical demands of a career rooted in entertainment.

High-value celebrity property transactions also attract attention because they offer a snapshot of activity in Mumbai’s premium housing market. The price, location and size of Mishra’s acquisition provide a point of comparison for other luxury residential deals in the western suburbs. However, the reported figures relate specifically to the registered apartments and associated charges; they should not be taken as a broader measure of property values across Andheri West.

Inside the transaction

Based on the reported areas and prices, the four apartments vary considerably in size and cost. The duplex accounts for the largest share of the overall investment, while the other three units add further residential space within the same housing society. The inclusion of three stilt parking spaces is another practical feature in a city where parking availability can be an important consideration for homeowners.

The recorded stamp duty of about Rs 1.33 crore adds substantially to the overall cost of completing the purchase. Stamp duty is a government charge applied during property registration, and its amount is generally linked to the transaction value and applicable local rules. The registration date—October 26, 2026—marks when the four deals were formally recorded, according to the documents reviewed by CRE Matrix.

Mishra’s Rs 22.25 crore acquisition is therefore notable not only for its headline value but also for its unusual four-apartment format, duplex arrangement and location in one of Andheri West’s established residential pockets. As the singer continues his work across music and Bollywood, the Mumbai purchase adds a major property development to his public profile.
